The Foundation Course in Prague is designed to prepare international participants for business or management studies in English. The aim of the course is to improve your English level skills, obtain basic knowledge of business and get ready for entrance exams to the business school. By the end of the course all participants will take the IELTS test organized by the British Council. This IELTS test is usually a basic entry requirement to any business school and provide the participant with an internationally recognized validation of the English level skills. Also, upon completion of the course you will be able to get admission to the Europort Business School in Prague, Bachelor' Degree studies, without any examination.
Accounting, economics and presentation skills are the building blocks of any manager’s career, even if he or she is not an accountant or economist. We will ensure that all participants have a thorough grounding in the basic concepts of accounting and economics as well as having practical experience of preparing and delivering presentations.The course will be specially structured to develop participants’ basic business knowledge and at the same it will focus on improving the knowledge of English. Participants will be able to obtain the maximum opportunities to practice business related language in a business oriented setting.

Starting dates of the Foundation course in Prague have been carefully chosen to ensure that the courses coincide with the IELTS examination dates, where they are available. We must stress that the British Council reserves the right to change the examination dates for operational reasons, therefore we may also need to make minor adjustments to the schedule to keep in line with their programme.

Instruction for all courses will be given during the 5 working days of the week, with at least 2 days of instruction starting in the morning and finishing in the early afternoon, and at least 2 days of instruction starting in the early afternoon and ending in the evening. Our participants come from all over the world. English is the language of communication for all aspects of the Foundation Course in Prague providing an opportunity to practice English and network with international students during your study in Prague. Liam Anderson will be your project manager for this course. His training experience is international, including projects in Bulgaria, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. He has worked with many large organizations including BT, Texas Instruments, BP and the British Council. Liam has an MBA from the University of Leicester.
