Admission to the University of Northern Virginia - Prague (UNVA-Prague) requires proficiency in English and motivation to succeed. Admissions officers examine both a student's past academic progress as well as their ability to benefit from a university education. Particularly important is the prospective student's motivation to study and personal desire to excel in business and also outside the workplace.
Students may transfer credits from other institutions.
There is no deadline for submitting an application; you can apply at any time. However, we recommend that students wishing to begin studies in the fall, apply before the end of June. Students may start at three times during the year: end of September, beginning of January, and beginning of April. For international students who need a visa, deadline for application is at least three months prior to the beginning of a semester.

- A deposit of 3000 euros. Details on transferring funds will be provided upon receipt of the application. (Please note: This deposit, minus an administrative charge of 100 euros to cover application fees, transfer fees, and postage, will be refunded to the student if he or she does not receive a visa.)
Notes
- The University of Northern Virginia Prague - UNVA Prague has an English proficiency requirement. Students have met this if they have completed their undergraduate program at institutions where English is the language of instruction.
- We estimate that annual expenses for international students during the 2009 - 2010 academic year amount to approximately $17,000 for Master's students inclusive of tuition fees, books, supplies, accommodation, personal expenses, and city transportation.
- Student Visas in the Czech Republic are issued solely for study purposes. Students wishing to work will need to obtain additional permission.
